Local Bike shops
Events like the Mission Classic do not take place without the great support of the Local Bike Shops. The Mission Classic will have four to five lower mainland shops involved with the event and are happy to have the following shops involved as we announce the event
Wentings’ Cycle & mountain shop, is a Family owned and operated retail bicycle and snow board shop. Llocated in Mission, B.C, and have been helping cyclists in the Fraser Valley for over 30 year. Their mission is to meet the needs of our customers with a high level of personal, knowledgble and helpful service. Bruce Wenting is a NCCP level 3 Cycling coach who specializing in bike fitting who is also involced heavily with the local club Pheonix Velo Training Group which hosts local cycling events.
In 2006, SPEED THEORY Vancouver opened its doors for business as a premier Triathlon/Cycling specialty shop in the heart of Kitsilano. This is the second shop in the SPEED THEORY family, with the first being our sister store in Calgary, Alberta. Their mandate is to help support cyclists and triathletes increase their enjoyment and passion for their respective sports.

Pheonix Velo Training Group
:Wenting Cycle the headquarters for the PVTG, a collection of cyclists ranging from 10-75 years old and including athletes from all diciplines. The group meets on Thursday nights during the winter for indoor sessions at the shop, Saturday and Sunday mornings for training. In spring the group hosts a Wednesday Night series at Mission Raceway Park on the track. Also, the club hosts two local cycling event s in the community.
